“Great, scenic fun - and a good place to run!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

Whether winter, spring, summer of fall, the Charles River makes for a great outdoor running. It's so relaxing to sit by the river and watch the rowers go by.

Greatest place for running, both during the winter and summer. Inspiring, never boring, since there are always many people running in both directions, of every age (mostly young!), shape (mostly fast!) and form (mostly good!).

“It's the Charles River what can I Say?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2013

I love the Charles River which separates Boston and Cambridge. Two equally beautiful but distinctly different cities. And the view from the bridges is outstanding, especially the Longfellow Bridge (AKA Salt & Pepper bridge) This is Boston.

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

Not sure how one can rate a river, but this is gorgeous. Great views from both Boston and Cambridge. I've been to Boston many times. In winter, the river is beautiful but forbidding. Walking toward the T from the Museum of Science gave an amazing view. A few years back I was accidentally in Boston during the Head of the Charles. Wish I had time to walk onto a bridge to observe.
