“Great Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

This restaurant is a hidden gem. Sort of around the back, but not to be missed. Atmosphere is like an old 60's diner. Crome stools, woven plastic coffee cups, lots of tats and piercings, so unexpected. The food was delicious and there was plenty for all tastes. Kudos for the atmosphere.

“Very Filling Breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

The Friendly Toast will NOT leave you hungry. Good strong coffee is served with their VERY ample and VERY tasty breakfasts. Be sure to ask your server for their recommendation, as the menu makes you want to order everything.

“Heartburn”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2012

The owner's original restaurant in Portsmuth NH is fabulous - which is why on a visit to Cambridge we lined up at this joint. The table was sticky, dirty. The food took forever to arrive - and it was nothing like what we tasted in NH. The items on the menu were the same but the food was dull and boring.

“Yum and Fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012

It's kinda hard to pay attention to your date because the walls are covered with quirky signs and toys from the 1950s' and 60s'. One of my favorites was a picture of a native american "Chief Long Lance" selling converses because they are better than barefeet. The menu has a large selection of diner eats; however, each time I have gone here I am impressed with the unique plate put in front of me. Brunch on weekends can be a rather lengthy wait. Definitely worth a visit.

“Quirky place - cargo pants and hoodie style!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012 via mobile

First: trust the bartender. His own drink creations were definitely one of the highlights.

Second: fun•tastic atmosphere and decor. Joyful and irreverent at times: perfect for a Friday night.

Finally: beware (in a good way) of the portion size: BIIIIG! Fair variety of dishes few for the weight conscious souls... but that is part of the fun too.
