“HOME OF THE NERDS”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

What can you say about this place - it is the epitome fo nerdiness and one of the best educational institutions in the country (if not the world). Go and amaze yourself. Attend if you can get in - don't even think of turning them down (unless oyu get into CALTECH as well).

“Very interesting modern architecture”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

Being interested mostly in architecture of the campus, we walked around on our own. Five new buildings are especially attractive - among them F. Gehry's Stata Bldg and S. Holl's Simmons Hall - an amazing dormitory which, unfortunately tourists are not allowed to enter. A. Alto's Baker House, however, is more welcoming to outsiders interesting in architecrural landmarks.

“Interesting campus”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

I followed the walking tour around the MIT campus instructed in my DK Eyewitness guidebook, which was a nice way to see the area. The campus has lots of interesting buildings as well as a number of unique sculptures dotted around. Not as picturesque as Harvard but still interesting.
