“Good deal for that amount of money”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

We stayed in Hotel Bristol for 2 nights, there was no problem with arrival at around 11pm. We booked our rooms via hostelsclub and paid the rest of money in the hotel, it was sth around 15Euro per person (2 ppl room). Room was good, it had a bathroom with shower (was clean), tv (quite a few canals), towels, bed linen etc. Bed was even comfortable, no problem with that.

Staff was ok, receptionist's English was at a good level. Breakfests were the worst part of staying there, everything was sweet, no ham, cheese etc, just cakes, crackers, biscuits. Btw, it was cold during the night... Also walls are very thin.

Area of hotel is boring, there's nothing around, everything is closed at 11-12pm and there is no shop. No problem with getting to the Mediolan during the day, but was during the night. Hotel is situated outside city area - more expensive ticket.

If you're looking for very cheap accomodation near Mediolan, then I think it's a good deal.

Room Tip: 2 ppl room + bathroom and breakfest is the best deal.

The room was dirty and there was no fridge. The breakfast was a joke; a lot of jams, croissans and plastic toast breads... there were no meat, no fresh bread, no vegetable or fruit or yoghurt...It was the breakfast if I can call it breakfast..

The hotel is cheap, decently clean. The location is not perfect, as the "sesto rondo" station ( 5 minutes from the hotel) is outside urban zone, which means additional tickets, but on the other hand there's no city tax. There are some great places to eat, including a nice trattoria ( same street as hotel only not towards sesto rondo, but the other way, 300m) and gelateria with home made ice cream ( on your way to carrefour express). The hotel offers everyday cleaning and towels, which is great. We stayed in a quadruple room, the bunk beds, and singles offer simply horrific sleep experience, so put 2 blankets on the matress. The bathroom was outside the room on the corridor. Breakfast consists of packed brioche ( croissants), rusks and crackers with selection of jams, coffee ( decent) and two kinds of juice ( baad), so be prepared to eat early lunch.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2014

Visiting Milan for a couple of days, our objective was finding a hotel which meet two objectives: 1) As cheap as possible and 2) Clean.
Hotel Bristol, not to be confused with the four star Milano Hotel Bristol, was a bit outside of the way and required a little extra in terms of metro tickets to get there, but achieved the goal of being cheap. To our pleasant surprise, it was also very clean, had a very decent bathroom and even had a little balcony.
The room only served as a place for sleeping, but that it did quite well. The only downside was, that sounds from neighbouring rooms (water pipes) and traffic from outside could be a tad loud. But it never prevented any sleep from being had. The night clerk, which we almost exclusively interacted with, was nice and helpful.

I did not expect any special accommodation, when booking the hotel. The quality and price completely correspond the the declared two stars rating. But the location is nice, some 500 m from the Sesto Rondo metro station. It takes about 20 minutes to reach downtown Milan.
A lot of cafes, shops, an open air market and supermarket in a walking distance.

1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2014

Stayed in February. Heater didn't work at all, woke up with sore throat. Went to front desk in a morning to ask for any kind of compensation was called crazy. Explanation was that in Italy there is no hot water in heaters during 1am and 8am. Man at the front desk was very rude (he was wearing winter jacket - thats how cold this place was).

Room itself was very basic, stone cold floor, outdated furniture and bathroom. Breakfast was bad joke. The only pro may be free wifi, nd lot of street parking up the street, that's about it.

I suggest you to avoid this place.

Room Tip: Do not stay here!
