I first saw a picture of this hotel in a magazine and it looked amazing. When we arrived to this hotel in the middle of no where we were put into a very small room with a nice view of the flat lands. Apparently you have to get a suite to have an amazing room with space which is a lot more expensive. I feel that the hotel was very over priced for what it was. The food was definitely good but keep in mind, you have very few options that far out from the city. What killed me was the service in the restaurant and the inconsistency of the prices on the menu from what they actually charge you. My favorite lines were "I don't know how much it costs, you know our customers don't care about price" and " we are the best hotel in Iceland".
Overall, it was fine for a night and/or to eat dinner, but I would not recommend much more than that.
