Our flight arrived early and Blue lagoon was not open yet so we swung over for breakfast. They were very courteous and kind. The cost for coffee only was such that we went for the full breakfast which was very reasonable and included the GREAT coffee. It has nice views of mountains and the pleasingly designed geothermal power-plant. The breakfast was a complete buffet of the type found in Iceland so we got to sample it all on our first morning, including the various, fishes, meats and cheeses, very wholesome breads and cereals and the aforementioned great coffee. We had travel questions and the hostess directed us to the desk where we got some great advice and directions for a side trip via Grindavik and Krisuvik, rather than taking the road directly to Reykjavik. If we just had a late night stopover in Iceland I would consider staying here but would otherwise get out to other destinations. Not much to do in the neighborhood other than Blue Lagoon.
