“Beware - A tourist trap”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2011

It's really expensive to swim here because the payment is made in Euros. Ther are lots of people. But the water is warm and it must be nice to swim here in wintertime. But it is cheaper to swim outdoors in Reykjavik. And more easy to reach.

“Too beautiful year around”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2011

Are you sticking around for a few weeks or just a few hours, the Blue Lagoon offers a surreal spa attraction not equaled anywhere. The pastel blue waters are heated by thermal heat injection from the near by thermal generator station. The staff are friendly layed back and ready to help. The change rooms are spacious and clean and there is a relaxing restaraunt attached to the pool.

“Relaxing Start to a week in Iceland”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2011

Brilliant start to our trip on Iceland. Came straight from the airport, and after conditioning my hair twice (and leaving the 2nd in!) we were reclining in the warm waters and detoxing with silica face mud.

I particularly enjoyed the thundering waterfall which pummelled my muscles - best massage in ages! There's a cute cafe to buy drinks and ice creams from IN the pool so you can stay nice and warm :-)

Showers and changing rooms are clean and safe. Staff all very friendly. Cafe very affordable and delicious food! MUST SEE on way to/from airport.

“Seriously Relaxing and Rejuventating Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2011

Plan your visit to Iceland, and don't miss this! A 2-hour visit isn't really long enough. Enjoy the exfoliating salt (free), consider a volcanic scrub and algae mask for only 900 ISK. Soak away the time whatever the weather, you will feel very relaxed upon emerging. This is not a cheap visit, be prepared to pay to enter, rent towel/robe (lockers for your stuff are free), have lunch (water is free) - but it is an easily arranged visit. Use Reykjavik Excursions on the way in/back to the Keflavik Airport since you have to go there anyway. They have secure and free luggage storage. All in all, it's a great system.

“Nice way to end our vacation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2011

After almost two delightful weeks in Europe, we stopped here for a few hours on our way to the airport. Very relaxing and therapeautic. Any visit to Iceland MUST include a stop here!
