Noisy, right next to a busy highway. Beware!
I called to make my reservation and requested a quiet room, they put me in a room probably 40 yards from the highway. I asked to be moved to a room on the other wing when I arrived; away from the freeway. The extremely thin young man who (supposedly) works during the night shift informed me that there aren't any rooms, and rolled his eyes, this boy just wanted to be left alone, I saw how he handled other guests, he's not interested in working at this hotel. Went back to my room and did not sleep at all that night, every 2 minutes a truck passed by. In the morning, at 8am when I asked to be moved to a quieter room, the maid showed me 3 good rooms, which were available the previous night, she couldn't understand why that fine gentleman had not moved me. I checked-out and went to the State House Inn, which was cheaper and much better. I can't believe I stayed at this hotel, that young man, who works the night shift could have easily moved me to another room, why do they keep him on the staff...Tells you something about their management...

Clean rooms. Right off the highway near a strip mall. Lots of different restaurants nearbye. We felt safe and sound there. The room dimensions were a little bigger than a standard 2 qn room. Here is our rate for a friday night in August. Breakfast was nice.

We stayed here for 4 nights and we were overall very happy with the stay. Check-in went smoothly, we purchased the breakfast for an addition $5 each morning and it was well worth it. Plenty of good food. The room was good size, we had the suite. Bed very comfortable. I wish the window would open for some fresh air but overall the room was good. The only negative of our stay was housekeeping on the first few days. The bed was made but the room wasn't vacuumed, sometimes the glasses were replaced, furniture wasn't wiped down, and an empty milk carton and yogurt container were left on the coffee table, not picked up. Minor things like this that add up over a couple days. The staff was very friendly and accommadating.

  • Liked — the staff were wonderful
  • Disliked — housekeeping

Great place to stay. Loved the feeling of being safe. Very quiet. Lots of business people and elderhostel groups. The front staff was extremely professional. Even the maids were so friendly.
The internet is free. The breakfast is not, however. So, go to a place called Jungle Jims on the old route 66 for breakfast.
Parking at the hotel is free. Lots of room! Very convenient to I55 and the Lincoln Museum is not that far away.

Planned a short, overnight trip to visit Lincoln Presidential Library/Museum and other historic sites. Found good price, including full hot breakfast through travel websites, and booked through Hilton's site.
Additional comments made at on-line reservation were followed to a tee!
Friendly staff, very efficient check-in/check-out, clean, comfortable room, easy access off Interstate highway, good access to a variety of restraurants.

  • Liked — Full hot breakfast included
  • Disliked — Not a great view.
