“Pretty dang good diner here”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

As one review said, one of the pictures someone posted is not this place, but the other one of the gray building is and i'm smart enough to not judge a book by it's cover. ( which it looked ok to me anyway ) Lots of cool memorebilia on the walls. Nice friendly waitress. Food was pretty dang good too ! We was going to the IL. state fair and this joint was right down the road from it. It was a pretty busy time with lots of people around for the fair but we was waited on fast and got our food in short order. I had a ribeye steak sandwich and it was pretty dang tasty ! Had four other people with us in our group and I didn't hear anything but good remarks about their food and it was reasonably priced. We was all very pleased and we even got to see Barbie fly over us !

“???”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

I do not know where this picture was taken, but it looked from the picture and ratings that this would be a fun place for the kids. Got to say, we just drove on by, the restaurant looks nothing like this picture. The restaurant was a grimy grey building. Did not look like somewhere to go with the kids.

“Best Grilled Tenderloin in Illinois!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

This somewhat quirky small eatery is only open for breakfast and lunch, but it is definitely worth a try. Their breakfasts are huge ( the Biscuits and Gravy will bring tears to your eyes!) and can be ordered right up until closing time at 2:00pm. But, if you ever order their grilled t-loin for lunch...you will never look back at breakfasts for lunch again!

Waitresses were fast, friendly, and incredibly proficient and made our group of " first timer" feel as much t home as the locals who obviously eat there a lot.

“Jungle Jim's is great!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

Been going here for years with a good fiend of mine. He won't eat anywhere else in town. Jungle Jim's is downright good home cooking. A wide variety of food on the menu and breakfast served all day! Plus enjoy the racing memorabilia all over the walls for Jungle Jim is involved in a lot.

“A+ for everything”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

If you haven't been to eat at Jungle Jim's on Peoria Rd (past the curve) heading north to fairgrounds lately, it's fine time to go back and give it a try. The menu has just about anything you would want to eat, and their breakfast is delicious. Biscuits and gravy and perfect everytime and the endless coffee is served with real cream and is a blend of columbian bean. Children, seniors, handicapped, and large groups are all welcome and the fun swinging barbies and flying pigs can give everyone a laugh. Also a delight for the NASCAR fan in your life as the walls are filled with a historical array of NASCAR memoribilia...Stop in with old friends or by yourself and make new friends - there's a full counter of stools waiting for you to drop by.
