“Enjoyed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013 via mobile

We had a light dinner here. Really enjoyed the 18 hour chicken sandwich. Fries were very good. Location is right downtown. Also liked the salsa. I look forward to going again.

“Great food beyond terrible service.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013 via mobile

We were only in Springfield for the day and new nothing of the city. We wandered upon Cafe Brio and thought we should give it a try. We were seated quickly and given water but that was as good as it got. We waited forever for the waitress to get back to our table to actually take our order and then we REALLY had to wait. It was a rainy Sunday and the
restaurant was anything but crowded, yet the table next to us stayed dirty and uncleared the entire time we were there.
It is unfortunate because the food was great, but the service was horrible.

“OK lunch”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

We visited Cafe Brio for lunch one afternoon on a day trip to Springfield. Service was a little slow for the size crowd in the restaurant, but we were in no hurry so we didn't mind. The chips and salsa were very good, but the food was average. My husband ordered the fish & chips, and while it tasted good - it was just warm and seemed like it had been sitting for a while. I ordered the Brio Burger which was flavorfull and very good, but the bun was soaked with butter and greasy. A nice place to visit, I don't know if I would go back.

“A gem downtown”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2013

We love Brio for dinner but were delighted to find ourselves there for brunch. The decor is warm and fun, the service is good and the food was excellent. I highly recommend ordering a drink with brunch. We all four ordered something different and we all loved what we got.

“If you are in no hurry . . .”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2013

. . . the waitress was very pleasant, we were served a very good salsa with chips while we waited and waited for our lunch. Not overly busy but took better than 30 minutes to get our lunch, 2 of which were daily specials. Grilled cod sandwich and fries, and Caesar salad with grilled chicken breast was good but not something we will do again because of the wait.
