“Almost like home!”

We chose Residence Inn to stop for one night on our way to the lake for a week. This hotel is was the perfect way to start our vacation. The staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful, and the rooms are extremely clean and roomy. We love that our two Goldendoodles were welcomed and really appreciated the huge, grassy area for them to run and play. This hotel gets a huge thumbs up from our family. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed here over the weekend for sightseeing in Springfield and wanted to stay much longer just to relax at this hotel. The room was great looking, spacious and comfortable, had everything we would need or want for an extended stay. Very friendly, professional and helpful staff.

Room Tip: Even the smallest available rooms are quite spacious

I stayed here for a month while I was working in Springfield. This hotel was great! Staff were very nice and helpful. I had a one bedroom suite which was like having an apartment. It had a fully equipped kitchen with plate, glasses, pans etc and a dishwasher. There was plenty of room to spread out on the couch and relax. The bed was very comfortable and there are flat screen TV's in the living room and the bedroom. There was a great desk with plenty of plugs to charge your gadgets and for work. Tues-Thur they have a reception with food and drinks which is great if you are tired and don't want to go out some nights, Rooms were clean and nicely furnished. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The only issue I had was I was in a corner room (great) but had the basketball court under me. I had people yelling and playing one night until 1:00 AM but other than that it was perfect.

We do, however, apologize for the noise from the Basketball Court and are happy that you brought this to our attention. We will be implementing a rule so that this event will not have a reoccurrence. With extremely friendly staff. Very clean rooms with comfortable beds. Although we didn't use it, our room came with a full kitchen. The only thing missing were luggage racks for suitcases. The breakfast was typical but with good selections. Food was replenished often and staff bent over backwards to please. A good choice when in the area

GREAT inn at which to stay. Exceptionally clean, very good complimentary breakfast, pool, workout facitlity and wonderful rooms. Had a 2 bedroom suite that was enormous and most accomodating. I would recommend this inn to anyone staying in Springfield IL for any reason. Every person on staff was very helpful with genuine friendliness. What a great group of people. And Ken at the front desk was THE BEST!!!! I observed him treat each and every guest with the same friendliness he did me. This man truely cares about his customers and loves his job. I think the attitude is contagious on staff!!!

Room Tip: Our suite was on the northwest corner of the building. Easy to access front and back of building...

We stayed at this Residence Inn when they first opened last June. It was our grandson's birthday and everyone was so friendly! They even gave Baden a birthday gift and cake! We stayed again with friends last weekend and everyone remembered us. This time our friends brought their 14 month old yellow lab service dog in training. Once again, everyone was so friendly and kind. The Inn is extremely clean, the pool is salt water and the breakfasts were delicious. We will let anyone that is traveling to Springfield know about this great place to stay.

We decided to do a quick trip over Spring Break to Springfield with our 4 kids- ages 8, 5, 5 and 2 (we live in Evanston, just north of Chicago). I had never been to Springfield before and I was quite surprised. We stayed at the Residence Inn and had a great experience! From the little bath toys when we checked in for the kids, to the clean pool with tons of pool towels to the comfortable 2 bedroom guest rooms with kitchen and complementary breakfast it was great. The rooms and hall were surprisingly quiet, and the staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. We had a great trip and will certainly be back! Thanks Marriott!
