I booked reservations at this restaurant for an anniversary dinner. I requested a table by the window overlooking the city of Springfield. I made the request when I made the reservation....highly recommend that you do this. This restaurant is on the 30th floor of the Hilton.
Upon arriving we noticed that it was very very warm inside. This will be the only negative part of dinner. I also need to state that it was 109 degrees on the heat index on the day we went to dinner. The air conditioner could not keep up.
We were greeted and seated immediately upon arrival. The hostess was warm and inviting. We did recieve my request of the window seating. We ordered a bottle of wine, which was wonderful. The wine menu and the dessert menu are on an IPAD. I ordered the house salad...which was so light...with a little tang...fabulous. The bread basket included many different types of bread. The water was ice cold and the glass was never empty.
Dinner was perfect. It was cooked exactly as I ordered it. Nicks Potatoes are to die for. Dessert....five selections. We ordered two. I wish I could have ordered all of them. Amazing is an understatement.
The waitress was soooo friendly. She was attentive..but not bothersome. She offered to take our picture. She let us dine...and we were there over two hours. A perfect evening. We recommend anyone to try this place. And we will definitely be back!
