“Good fresh food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

Great location (quieter end of the harbour), but within reach of everything, and great views. Ate here 3 times, the food is very good, absolutely fresh fish (the bream was beautiful) and simply cooked. Fabulous olives and olive oil, and home baked bread get you in the mood. Also stayed here for 8 nights, bedroom was quiet even though over a harbour restaurant, apartment quite small, but adequate. Breakfasts good especially fresh fruit, honey and yoghurt.

“Probably the best in the village”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

This Sivota is not to be confused with the Sivota on Levkas, though both are great places to visit if you are on a boat. This restaurant was recommended to us by a number of people and we ate there twice. The food was consistently good and the service excellent, presided over by the half Canadian proprietress. Even the cats were entertaining and well trained - we were assured that any cat which made a nuisance of itself was removed to the owner's father's farm inland! As usual, by no means fine dining but a good harbourside restaurant, and reasonable value for money.

“Great value”

Great value for honest home cooking. Great location too and the best tasting olives and bread in the harbour area.

“fantastic food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

if you are facing the sea far the Blue Coast is found on the right of the Moutos town quay,
The food was excellent, we all chose something different and nobdy was disappointed. My Moussaka was lovely and my friends shared a mixed seafood plate which they thoughoughly enjoyed.
The prices seemed about the same as for other similar meals but the quality was much better.

“A Jewel in Sivota's crown...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

Found this family run Taverna many years ago when Mum and Dad (Sandy - Canadian and Kosta - Greek) used to run it and has now been run by Daughter Angie and Husband Mert for the past 9 years and standards have not slipped! Sivota has many Taverna's on the waterfront wanting your custom but The Blue Coast on the far end stands head and shoulders above the others for Angie's Infamous hospitality and efficiency and Mert's Greek/Turkish family favourites. I can particularly recommend the Kleftiko, the Chicken Antalya as well as the delicious Kebabs. The number of regular return guests year after year is testament to all their hard work. You will not be disappointed. May it continue to be run by Angie and Mert's currently young family in the future.
