I really can't say enough lovely things about this hotel, we had an absolutely fab time. The hotel is gorgeous, really beautiful, modern, luxurious. The staff were so friendly, they really couldn't do enough for you. The food was great, loads of choice all really nice and fresh.
We stayed in a room with a pool and I'd highly recommend it. The main pool was really lovely but it was so nice to have our pool where we could just bob around and read our books (we bought a couple of those floating 'inner tube' type things which was ace, like having a seat in the pool!) and not worry about getting in anyone's way! We had a gorgeous view of the church from our room - though be warned, they do ring the bells so you will hear them!
We also tried out the spa which was amazing, it felt really luxurious! I had one of the wraps, which was super nice and involved being lowered into some lovely warm water once wrapped in the soothing aloe lotion and wrapped up. My partner had a massage which sounded amazing.
The area itself is nice, it's quite-ish, but not too sleepy, it really suited us as we wanted a nice relaxing break, not a party all night break! That said there are quite a few bars down in the little town (about 5-10min walk from the hotel) and lots of restaurants. The one's right on the harbour have amazing views, but maybe they're trading a little on this and not totally on their food, though nothing we ate was bad the whole week. I'd recommend a trip to Neromilos (it's on trip advisor). It's dinner only so if you're half board at the hotel you might not think it's worth it, but it totally is! It's a little walk (probably 15 mins) outside the town, but really really worth it!
All in all it was an amazing holiday, beautiful hotel, lovely place, really friendly people. I really can't recommend it highly enough! Just check who your flight is with before you book! Ours was with Fly Hellas/Viking Hellas and we were delayed overnight coming home and some people had been delayed by over 24 hours going out too, but that's nothing to do with the hotel, just an extra tip!!
I'd definitely go for one of the rooms with a pool, TOTALLY worth it!
