I traveled to Omaha for business and stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites. I can honestly say I'm not sure I would return. Since I was travelling on business, I did not have a vehicle available, and the hotel is not located in an area with much in the way of decent food within a reasonable walking distance (at least, not if you've on a time crunch due to work and sleep, or unused to the hot weather). Not really the hotel's fault, but they also do not seem to regularly provide microwaves/refridgerators for guests staying in normal (non-suite) rooms - so those of us who would have otherwise relied on a single trip to the grocery were simply out of luck.
The room I was in was clean enough, but very bright and loud - even in the middle of the night. The hotel doesn't appear to use blackout curtains, relying instead on a blackout blind which does little to block the great amount of light coming from the streetlights and the nearby ameritrade center. Additionally, it was quite noisy - both outside noise and inside. I could easily hear people moving though the hall, in the rooms to either side and the room(s) above mine. I called the front desk once because of the noise coming from a neighborning room and the gentleman was impolite and unhelpful. Furthermore, I'm fairly sure nobody ever contacted the room (I provided the room number) to tell them to be quieter. I could clearly hear them and nobody came to the door there or called. Finally - over an hour later (and many, many hours past when I'd tried to go to sleep - the group broke up on their own and went to sleep.
Overall, I am surprised the hotel is as highly rated as it is. While it is decent, it seems to lack what many basic motels (Motel 6, etc) provide. The service was lacking and, while the quality of the room (the things it did provide) was decent, the environment made it distinctly sub-par. I will certainly think twice before staying at any Hampton Inn during future travels.

We do have microwave and refrigerators in our Suites, but not in our standard guestroom. However, should our guests request to have a microwave and refrigerator in their room, we would make every effort to accommodate that request. I appreciate you letting us know about the noise and the staff’s reply. I apologize for the inconvenience and will make a point to address these issues and how they should be handled in the future with our staff. We look forward to our next opportunity to properly serve you so that we can create a True Memorable Hampton Inn & Suites experience for you.
