“Another solid Hilton property.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2012

We stayed at this property as part of an easy weekend getaway from Kansas City. We weren't familiar with Omaha, so we were guessing a bit as to what part of town to search for a hotel.

The hotel is across the street from TD Ameritrade Park, home of the College World Series. It's also a block or two from the convention center. If you're not there to visit either location, you'd be better off staying in the Old Market. There are a couple bars, restaurants, and shops scattered around the hotel, but nothing cohesive.

The rooms are spacious, as to be expected for an all-suite hotel. Our room was a one-bedroom suite. You enter a living room/kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, and full-sized refrigerator. There is a couch, dining table/workspace, and TV. A door provides separation from the bedroom.

We slept very well - the beds are comfortable, the noise level was low, and we were able to keep the room completely dark.

The other furnishings in the room were average - nothing flashy, and nothing objectionable.

Breakfast was just okay. The hot items consisted of scrambled eggs and tater-tot-style potatoes. The rest of the spread was standard continental breakfast: cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, waffles, etc.

We did not use the pool or fitness center, but they both looked to be nice facilities.

It was a good hotel. They had a shuttle that would take you anywhere within 4 miles. You would have plenty of places to go eat. The room had a fridge, stove, microwave (I didn't use any of them). It had a new flat panel TV.

Room Tip: If you are a non-smoker, make sure you book a non-smoking room. I didn't pay attention and book...

It really does feel like a home away from home. We were warmly welcomed, the staff was very friendly and helpful, even to our small children. Our room was large and comfortable although the pull out couch was even worse than I had expected. The dinner and breakfast were very enjoyable and really added to the value for us. It is also nicely located for sporting events and access to a vibrant downtown area.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with lounge and Kitchen, the rooms were huge (by English standards). The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever lay in and made for a really good nights sleep, this helped minimise the jet lag!
The breakfast didn't have the largest selection but was adequate.

We had a fire and spent nearly eight months in this hotel. We had a two room suite with a small kitchen area (2-burner stove, dishwasher, full size refrigerator-freezer, and microwave - plus dishes, pots, glasses, silverware, etc.). Our bed was very comfortable and the hotel is quiet. In this length of time you get to know a hotel pretty well. Hot breakfast is available every day - eggs, often sausage, potatoes of various kinds, breads, waffles, cereal, beverages. Fresh apples and bananas are usually available. Dinner is served four nights a week - Mon-Thurs. The entrees are fine and there is nearly always a salad bar. And, yes, beer and wine are included.

Hotel staff are wonderful - pleasant, friendly, helpful, and concerned that everything is to your satisfaction.

We used virtually every service the hotel has available - meals, swimming pool, hot tub, exercise room, business center, fax service, internet, cable tv, self-service laundry, maid service, free parking, and the shuttle to nearby locations. It is really true - if you aren't staying at home, this hotel is the next best place to be.

Room Tip: Upper floors have a better view. Smoking rooms are available.

Nothing bad to say at all. I stayed 3 nights on business and loved the hotel.

They provide a decent breakfast and a nice meal at dinner that includes wine and beer. The room was great. Bed was very comfortable.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time April 9th. We had tickets to a Barry Manilow concert and this motel is downtown and had the shuttle that would take us to the venue. We were able to get a early check in. We were a little disapointed that we did not get the smoking room we had guranteed on our reservation. The motel is beautiful and very clean. I went to the pool for about 2 hours. Very nice. Hot tub was awesome. Our room was a one bedroom suite with a stove, microwave and big refrigerator. They serve dinner mon thru thursday, This night was soup/sandwiches, not bad. Anytime during our stay the I requested something it was brought to the room immediately and with a smile. The customer service rocked. The shuttle was great got us to and from the concert in a short amount of time. We will be staying here again..
