“Great little cabin”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

My husband and I were travelling with our dog. We love to be able to stay at KOA Deluxe Cabins when we travel with our dog because there's always great areas to walk with her after a long drive. The owner of this KOA stepped in to help with a problem during our check in and went above and beyond our expectations. The cabin also had nice little "extras" that other KOA Deluxe Cabins don't offer and it made us feel very welcome. Little extras like a box of Kleenex, hand soap, bath mat, and coffee creamer were a step above other KOA Cabins that we've stayed in. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here while driving across the country. The campground is very clean, it has a great playground for kids. We had a hard time getting our kids to come home! HAHA Would stay again if we are ever back in that area.

One of the nicer KOAs we have visited but this one was also one of the priciest. A modern tent site ran us close to $50 which is high for a tent site. The KOA offers a large variety of fun activities for the family most of which are now included in the rate (in 2012 there was a fee according the main desk). The staff was very friendly and the campground was clean and well maintained. On our particular visit the campground was jam packed but overall it was not a major issue and not very noticeable. Another nice touch is the campground has an on-site pizza company which will deliver your order to your site. A great campground but because of the price point I am unable to give it a full five start review.

We have stayed at many KOAs, and this one is our favorite. Love the deluxe cabin...it's a splurge, but worth it after a long day on the road. It's clean, comfortable, and cools down quickly with the AC running. The pool is a comfortable temp, and the kids love it. This year, they seem to have changed policies so that the bouncy pillow, zip line, etc., are included in the price of your stay. That probably increased the price, but we would rather pay that increased price and let our kids have unlimited access to these amenities...good move, Gretna KOA! Staff is friendly and helpful. We have stayed here 4 times, and never been disappointed.

We recently stayed two nights at this campground on our way from VA to Yellowstone. This campground was a perfect place to stop and relax on a long road trip. We had a large, shady spot to park our camper and plenty of room for 4 kids and 4 small dogs. The pizza on arrival was great and the staff is very friendly. The amount of activities is great for kids and there is now NO CHARGE for the jumping pillow. When I asked a staffer about the change he replied that they charged a fee while repaying the loan for the pillow. Our family was thrilled to hear that and spent many hours at the playground. The dog park is plenty big and nicely shaded most of the day. Bathroom and showers are exceptionally clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Small and cramped, close to interstate so VERY noisy and lots of folks with mullets. Interesting one night stay on our roadtrip west. I wouldn't go back unless I absolutely had to. On the plus side, it had lovely shaded sites that gave you the real feel of camping and the people that were there seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Way way over priced with small spaces you will need to be very good at manuvering your rig and be excellent at backing up. If you are traveling through Omaha or to Omaha on I80 stop at Pine Grove Rv park in Greenwood. Only 12 miles away Exit 420. Excellent park with a lot of activities. Half the money of the KOA.
