I understand the Zephyr Lily was wonderful! However, I and others have tried to call, but the number is no longer listed!

“What a nice surprise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2014

We took our son and his girlfriend out to dinner here last Thursday night. The owner and chef greeted us at the door, seated us, made our meals and waited on us superbly. This place is casual, fun. The food was fresh, local and delicious! They do not have a license for wine but we brought in our own and there was no corkage charge. I highly recommend this place. Great bistro vibe - good music, local art and laid-back comfy aura. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

“Hard to find but good interesting food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2014

On the basis of previous folks' raves about the place, we dropped in for dinner on a Friday night. Hard to find initially, tucked away in a parking lot next to a rather sad looking ballet studio. Walked in and we were essentially alone. The waitress explained that there was no music this night and that's why folks were scarce. Heads up here: the floor is concrete and the room large and with any sort of music which is not acoustic, it has the potential to be loud. The room is a cavernous place and darkish but appealing in a hipster-coffee house sort of way. The service is extremely cool and friendly. I asked about a wine list and was told, no license BUT there is a drug store just a block or so away which has a decent selection (not so sure about that - what does one do with a box of Franzia for dinner?). But no matter. The food menu was small but that said, nicely done. The brisket hash was very redolent of the beef and rather lean, a nice change from 'hash house' hash. The meat loaf sliders were very good: could have been 'meat loaf done three ways' alongside a superb bed of greens. I will revisit (maybe BYO next time as well) in the near future: both dishes we had would have rocked with a great beer. The food is the kind of food you say, you know, more places should put together nice stuff like this. One hopes they score a liquor license as it is tough sledding in this business without one. A single visit does not let me go over the edge on this but it seems like it has good potential to grow, presenting excellent food in a pleasing way. I would think that if this one visit turns out to be typical, that the toney joints in the Dundee center area should take a look and ask themselves why the plates are so costly for most often rather pedestrian offerings.

“Real Food for Real People”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2013 via mobile

If you have the opportunity to meet the good people that run this establishment, you will instantly fall in love with their culture, warmth, and expertise. As soon as you taste the food, you will solidify this restaurant as one of your favorite regulars. The ambience, people, and conversation will keep you entertained; and the delicious one if a kind cuisine tastes just like love.

“Bring on the Wine Geeks!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2013

This may be my favorite restaurant in Omaha. It is really an "upscale sandwich" place but I mean this as the ultimate compliment, dishes you have never seen before and will never see again at sandwich prices.

It always amazes me that people talk about expensive, reasonable, affordable ........... when reviewing a restaurant. To those of us who love wine, nothing makes much difference when you were just ripped off for $100 for an average bottle of wine.

THERE ARE NO CORKAGE FEES!!!!!!!! Bring wine from your own cellar and enjoy a great meal.

Please show a little class and tip according to that fact.
