Caniglias served Omaha and it's visitors for decades. Wishes the family a healthy and fun retirement.

“Best ever italian food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2014

If you are in town, please visit this family owned restaurant, before it closes for good (I think I heard the last day is May 3,2014, but call to make sure). The best food ever in town. You get unlimited (huge) rolls, unlimited salad,a cup of soup, and your meal. Anywhere from a hamburger (child's menu burger is huge), lasagna, spaghetti (make sure you get the meatballs with it), steak, etc. The famous entree is the ravioli with sauce is out of this world. It tastes fried, but it is baked. It is not pricey for all the food you get.

“FAB!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

I will miss the food and staff! The sweet soft spoken young girl, the wonderful Navy vet, {thank you}. The tie wearing wonderfully unique server. The owners who always remind me of my family who were friends with them and all the great memories of all the Caniglia restaurants. I love the steak, gravy {spaghetti sauce}. All! Thank You for the memories! GO HERE BEFORE THEY CLOSE! if you are a food snob go somewhere else. This is an experience not just food.

“Closing Soon”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2014

This Omaha landmark restaurant will be closing by early May 2014. I'm sure many folks will want to dine there one more time -- even if they haven't been there in a long time.

“Defines classic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2014

My family has enjoyed 40 years of dining in this great family restaurant. Super staff, friendly owners, phenomenal steaks and italian dishes. Hard to believe how low the prices are , given the quality and quantity. Forget those awful chain restaurants, and enjoy some old school hospitality.
