My wife and I had a late dinner at Vivace on a saturday night. There was a wait so we sat at the bar (open seating) and were happy to eat at the bar. After we got a couple drinks a high table opened up and they offered it to us! Great service, they seem to go out of their way. The hightop was also part of the bar so the bartender continued to wait on us and really went out of the way the whole time. I tipped him 30%, that's how good he was!
The pricing is relatively high, but expected for the quality of cuisine, location, and service. We had one appetizer and two drinks each, including our entrees the meal was $80, so well over 100 with tip.
I had the lasagne and I'm italian so I have had good authentic lasagne. It came with 3 gigantic meatballs that were quite possibly the best - or at least the most unique - meatballs I had ever had. They were loaded with red and green peppers and seasoned wonderfully. Together with the lasagne, which was otherwise quite bland, it was perfect.
My wife had a chicken pizza, she enjoyed it. With appetizer and soup/salad a couple could probably split the pizza.
It's a nice intimate atmosphere and located in an eclectic, historic downtown district of Omaha.
