“Find another place”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2012

The place has a good location, Anna and Nathan are great employees. The problem is the owner, who is trying to recover his investment as quickly as he can before the Euro crashes.

You are lead to believe that the breakfast is included in the price, but then you are surprised at check out with a 9E charge for a pathetic breakfast that even the hotels that do include a breakfast wouldn't provide. There is nowhere in your room or in the "restaurant" that says anything about a charge or a price.

There are also minor maintainence issues, when brought to the employee's attention they just roll their eyes, when you bring it to the owner's attention, its "thanks" and that is the end of it. The "piece" of soap that you get I can't even describe, its a 1.50" "disk" less than 1/8" thick.

If you have no other choice, stay there, but don't eat the breakfast.

We take note of your comment and sorry that some points have not agreed you. However, we would like to specify you that:-you had accepted the reservation of a room at 78 EUR, hotel with more standard 69 EUR room availability. We have the remember this point at your departure showing you your acceptance in writing via mail of this change of tariff.-you refused that the daily household be executed during your stay. We not have to replenish your room in home product correctly.-you note that tariffs are not displayed. This assertion is incorrect. According to regulations, prices are displayed, first to the outside at the entrance of the hotel, and then on the counter of reception and in each room finally.-We do not understand that criticizing the breakfast you have take him all morning. We have all been implemented so that your stay runs correctly and are surprised by your comments where you have extended your stay in our establishment of 2 to 7 nights and made no comment during your week of stay.We hope that these answers will bring you the information that you were missing.

If you want to be carefull on your travel budget or you plan (same like us) to have base to sleep whike visiting Avignon, isle sur la Sorgue and provence overall, this hotel is a good alternative. It's simple hotel but clean. Disadvantage are the rooms facing the street which becomes very busy in the morning. Skip the breakfast, it's oversold with "genuine home-made jams". It's in fact all you get with croissants and pain au chocolat for 9€/pers. I suggest to walk 100m to boulagerie where you get great breakfast for 5€. Plus is parking free of charge.

We spent two nights in one of their superior rooms with balcony overlooking the garden and river. Extremely quiet and comfortable room, with plenty of space and large balcony. Good and clean bathroom.
Hotel front desk staff were very friendly and obliging. A special thank you for allowing us to park in the secure hotel parking, even after we had checked-out, and wanted to still stay in town for an hour or two.
A really highly recommended hotel where we will certainly stay again.

Room Tip: Take a Superior with large balcony - it's worth it.

i unexpectedly stayed at this hotel for 4 days in mid-May when I experienced a bicycle crash outside of town on the first day of a 5 day tour of the Luberon area. Upon learning that I had broken 6 ribs my bike tour was over and I was treated most kindly by the owner Benjamin and his staff; all who speak excellent English. From giving our group an early check in the day of the crash to freezing ice packs for me in their freezer all week I could not have had better service while resting my injured ribs. The hotel amenities are excellent for a inexpensive 2 star hotel. The rooftop pool and deck are spacious with a nice view of the hill country. The riverside garden is very relaxing and shady on warm days. The town itself is full of interesting shops and there is a wide variety of restaurants. Everything is within walking distance of the hotel. The basic double rooms are spacious by French standards. We had 6 people in my room one night for pre-dinner drinks and there was plenty of room for everyone to sit down on the extra chairs we brought into the room. Although I stayed at this hotel in this town by accident I will make a point to stay here again on future trips to this beautiful area. Thanks again Benjamin and staff!

Clean rooms with nice bathrooms. We didn't try the breakfast buffet. Only minutes on foot to center of town. On sundays there's a flea market and all the antiques stores are open. For the price this is a great value.

The spot for value, location and great service. Rooms are large, no excessive furniture and the balcony is perfect. So close to the centre of town maybe a two minute walk. Pay the extra for the garden, stream rooms well worth the price! Front desk people incredibly friendly and helpful. Would stay again

Great location, centrally located. Everything within walking distance. Free parking, free wifi and breakfast included in the room price. Paid 59 euros which was not expensive. I had a room on ground level overlooking the car park and surrounding areas. Room was clean, quiet and has enough room for two.

Room Tip: I had room 107, quiet (at the end of corridor). Overlooking the car park and surrounding areas.
