My family and I much enjoyed a night at Lake Mead Lodge - instructions on how to find the restaurant ( which is at the neighbouring marina) were a bit difficult to follow in the dark but after a couple of false turns we found it and that was good too.The Lodge is relatively basic but clean and well cared for and peaceful. When we arrived the place seemed to have been taken over by some sort of seminar - mostly involving people sitting in circles on the grass - but by the time we returned from supper they had gone and there was plenty of parking thereafter!

We stayed there Mar 19, 2004, Friday for one night. No complaints here.
Happened to check in right at 2:00p.m. and room was all ready. Ice Cold Air Condition, Cable TV. Cot was in the room as we requested it 2 days beforehand. Great view of Lake Mead with great friendly service. Will definetly be back again the next time we are in that area!

the last time i visited this lodge, the outside trash was never picked up during my 4 day stay. at night, you would see the rats/mice running in and out of the trash can area which are located along the hallways next to the doors. i went to the front desk to complain about this trash situation and they advised me they were short of people and gave me i do not care and cannot do anything about it attitude, (but they did not offer an "short of service/cleanliness rate). when i returned home, i called seven crown resorts to let them know what had happened during my "landfill visit to lake meade lodge" and they gave me a worse attitude. my advise, do not waste your time there, go to the hacienda hotel or other nearby hotels where they offer better service and better rates. also, they do not offer any landfill views or rodent zoo.
