“Awesome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

We were in Vegas for a week and decided to zipline thru Bootleg Canyon. This is a must. The staff are friendly, funny and very knowledgeable and safety is #1. The speed, the views on the 4 runs that you will do are all different. They state they have night runs with or without glow sticks! Next time I am out west to Vegas we will be on a night zipline!
Thanks to the staff of Flightzline you are all great!

“2nd Visit, Equally Excellent Experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

If you're traveling to Vegas, rent a car for at least a day and get out to Boulder City to fly down these four incredible flightlines. You'll be given a brief, comedy-laden safety orientation and then packed into a van for a quick ride up Bootleg Canyon. Along the way the instructors reveal more about themselves and the area in a comedic, entertaining fashion. Once you arrive as far as your van will take you, you'll embark on a 15 minute hike up the rest of the mountain. This hike is somewhat strenuous, but is in no way a vertical climb. Definitely not for people that can't walk, but you'll be just fine. Remember to hydrate in the desert heat. The company provides cold water along the entire tour - huge bonus! Each flightline is long and really impressive. I've done this experience twice, and each time was amazing! Hats off to the staff, they're the best part of the tour. Another bonus - because I had already flown with the company once, they gave me and my companion a discout. Another Bonus! Definitely go and leave time at the end to drive another 15 minutes to the Hoover Dam. A most excellent start to your day off the strip!

“Awesome entertainment”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012

We were collected promptly by the Bootleg flighlines mini-bus at the designated hotel in Las Vegas and made the trip out to Boulder Canyon where we were welcomed, weighed, signed consent forms before running through some safety basics in a hangar type area. We were then driven out to the canyon to undertake the series of zip wires.

We had booked a morning session and was glad to have done so given the heat; it feels warmer up in the mountains surrounded by rocks that absorb the heat. Water is provided throughout.

The staff of Bootleg flightlines are great guys. 'Surfer dudes' springs to mind! They are funny, entertaining and good fun although always professional when it comes to the acutal business of the zip lines.

The zip lines themselves are a fantastic rush. The views from the canyon are great and to be whizzing through this scenery is quite an experience! I found that I got stuck on each of the zip wires: those weighing less dont quite gather the requisite momentum to carry them all the way to the end, but that in itself was an experience too! Dangling over the canyon, safely in the harness, awaiting one of the guys to come along and drag me in was pretty cool.

There is quite a steep walk up one of the zips and to be honest, be prepared for a bit of hard work/exertion as you will be carrying your harness. You will be well rewarded though.

The zipwire experience was somewhat on the pricey side but it is worth every penny: it is a professional outfit with fantastic staff and it provides a unique experience in a spectacular landscape. Would recommend to anybody looking for an alternative activity whilst in Vegas.

“Awesome Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012

I was really scared to zipline as I had never done so before but the guides made me feel very safe and comfortable. It was such an amazing and thrilling experience. The views were spectacular. It was worth every penny. The guides Andrew, Lionheart, Jake and (I forget the fourth) were so funny and made the experience that much better. I highly recommend this adventure for everyone.

“expensive but well worth every penny”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

Have zip lined before in the Carib, but this beats it by a long shot. High, fast, and exciting. You are comfortably secured in a (back pack) type harness, and zip without having to worry about twisting around. Just sit or lean back straight and enjoy the trip! The first leg is scarey, as you are very high up. But after zipping around 50 ft down the line, the fear goes away and the fun begins. After that, you are at ease on the next 3 zips. The staff are fantastic; please remember to tip them when you get back to the office. There is a bit of an uphill climb/hike on the first leg; and you are pretty high up, so go slow and take your time. The metal trolleys that you ride down on are heavy; so do not be shy about letting the staff carry them for you if you are a little short of breath. Best times are early morning, sunset, or after dark.
