My wife and I booked two nights at the Long House because we had a good experience there in 2001. Sadly it has really gone downhill. We were given room 159 and found the two beds had not had the sheets changed from the last visitor, the beds only having been made. There were hairs on the sheets and one bed only had a matress pad, no sheets. The room was cold and the smell was awful. Actually the smell permeated the whole motel. We called the desk and the girl gave us another room that she had "just cleaned." It was acceptable but not exceptionable, the sheets being threadbare. We decided that the next time we are in Anchorage we will stay at the Millenieum.
