Two big thumbs up for the Wildflower Inn! After having just spent two weeks hopping around Alaska and staying in a range of accommodations from the Captain Cook Hotel to B&Bs to a tent, I'd like to offer my highest praise for the Wildflower Inn. Our two night stay there was nothing short of a fabulous experience. The home is comfortable and breakfast was terrific. Wildflower is situated in a colorful residential area, just a short 7-8 minute stroll to downtown (we didn't have a car and enjoyed the stroll). The hosts, Larry and Allen, welcomed us as if we were family. From the very first call to reserve the room all the way through our stay, they were warm and accommodating. Wildflower has a great vibe and attracts people with really positive energy. I look forward to staying there again.
