On june 2006 I stayed here with my oldest daughter who had taken me on an Alaskan cruise and then to Anchorage where we stayed for three days (this time I stayed 6 days giving us more to see and do). I wrote a review upon arriving back home---and here I am once more--another cruise (this time I brought my youngest daughter) and where did we stay--at the Alaskan Leopard again. And now---another review and a high-five to the owners Tom & Bobbie. This trip was just as wonderful the second time as was the first---superb accomodations and scrumptious breakfasts that last most of the day! One of my favorites was the sourdough pancakes----yummy ! Tom & Bobbie are gracious hosts and took such good care of us. We were gone most of the daytime but were always looking forward to the comfortable beds. This time I used them for our cruise transfer and the trip was really amusing---some corny jokes that kept us laughing and took us on a little side tour or two which added to the transfer making it so unique and not as boring as a taxi ride. We had a rental car reserved and Tom dropped us right at the airport and took our luggage on to the B&B---try getting that type of service with other sources. The Arctic Mood room had been renovated and was very pleasant and comfy. I did, however, miss their dog who used to greet everybody. I know they really grieved for him---maybe the next time I come, they will have another one !! The view from the deck is great and I would sit for hours in the big family room and watch TV and get on the computer (which was available for you). My daughter and I certainly enjoyed A;aska and can't wait to return. I will take advantage the next time I come and will use the Leopard Trax so Tom can help me see more---my next quest is to see the Northern Lights and this will be my place to return. They are such wonderful Christian people and cater to any and all of your requets for info, directions, and are always happy to just have conversations with you. NO hotel can offer you what they do. I will be back again and hope they are still here with the B&B.
