This is a bed and breakfast establishment with a twist. We booked one night upon our arrival in Anchorage and another before our departure. The inn is located only five minutes drive from the airport. There are four rooms and two rooms look directly onto Lake Hood which is the seaplane base. So all day you have seaplanes taking off and landing. If you want peace and quiet do not come here. If you want a unique Alaska experience it was great and not a problem at night. We loved it. If you are a total plane person there was headphones to let you listen to the control tower and the pilots.
Continental breakfast was self service in a common kitchen area. Rooms were clean and well appointed. The location was very easy to access the Seward Highway.
