My son and I took a Denali flight on 4/3/12. The day before I called Rust's to book a glacier flight tour but it was not available so I booked the Denali flight instead. When we woke up in the morning the weather was perfect, not a cloud in the sky! The trip was scheduled for 3 1/2 hours and it lasted over 4 hours. The view of Denali right to the summit was crystal clear. Our pilot flew passes that he could not normally fly as the weather was clear with literally no wind or turbulence. We could see down the Alaskan Range about 135 miles. Flying over Ruth Glacier was breathtaking, the sheer granite walls left you speechless. We did a fly by over the Don Sheldon Mountain House as there were visitors outside during our flight. We landed on the ice/snow covered lake near Denali which afforded more photo opportunities. Though the flights are weather dependent, we could not have asked for a better flight. Flights are not cheap, but I would take another in a heartbeat.
