I had a phenomenal meal here in 2005. Unfortunately, this meal was nothing like the first experience. Eric, the waiter, was wonderful, as was the sommelier and the other waitstaff. The chef kindly offered to make a 1/2 of two entrees when I couldn't decide. Unfortunately, the potatoes on the salmon dish were raw and there wasn't much of a reaction when I pointed that out. Lovely fresh fish (salmon and rockfish) were overwhelmed by ill matched sauces (too sweet, too heavy). The apple tart was also marred by overly sweet caramel ice cream and pastry and undercooked apples. The amuse bouche was a soggy mess of raw salmon. Lovely view, good service, but the food was not worth the repeat trip.
