“Best fine dining in Anchorage”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013 via mobile

We stopped by for drinks about five after visiting the museum. It was happy hour and the bar was full but quite. The wine flights and appetizers were great so we decided to stay for dinner. Both of our entries we well prepared and the service was good. The atmosphere is very nice. A good place to go for a quiet evening to eat salmon or halibut.

“Nice dining experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

As with another reviewer, we dined here because the Glacier Brewery, next door, was closed. Fortunately, we had made reservations, because it was crowded even at 6:30. The menu offered a good selection of seafood, which is what we were looking for. My husband had the king salmon and I had the halibut, and both dishes were expertly prepared and presented. We enjoyed the atmosphere, and the service was friendly and efficient. The only slip was on wine--I had asked for a glass of zinfandel and got a white zin by mistake (I don't think the waiter knew the difference), but the problem was quickly resolved. As we walked back to our hotel, my husband realized he did not have his credit card and hurried back to the restaurant. The manager was very professional in making sure it was his and in returning it. We would return to this restaurant if we traveled to Anchorage again.

“Alright”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013 via mobile

We ate here because Glacier Brewery was closed and this was right next door. The food was okay, but definitely overpriced, even for Alaska. I had a chicken dish with a strange assortment of veggies, mostly consisting of potatoes, grape tomatoes, and onions. Very confusing. My fiancé liked his meal but he can't remember what he had so it clearly wasn't amazing. Great service, but only decent food for the price.

“Great Food”

Always great food and service. I love the Osso bucco. Can't get past it. Also you should try the Blood Orange martini. Great place for any special occasion.
