“Why so Expensive?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2014

To us this place is rated overly highly and is way too expensive for what it is. It is attached to a brewery and has a selection of local brews which has a certain appeal; however, nothing else is significant and the service was mediocre. It was just an average roadhouse type of restaurant for us out-of-towners at fine dining prices.

“Nice and cozy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2014

Arrived at 7pm without a reservation and had to wait almost an hour for a table. But that was exactly what I was told the wait would be. Had a seafood chowder and the catch of the day. The chowder was great, the main course very good but not exceptional. House brewed beer is great.

“Good Foor”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2014

We ate here twice while in Anchorage. The first day for lunch we had the Halibut. It was great. Nice salad came with the meal. Tried the Blondie beer which we enjoyed even though we normally prefer wine. The second time we went for dinner and enjoyed the fish and chips (which was Halibut--only in Alaska). The slaw was also good. Service is good. In August you need a reservation for dinner. If you want bread for lunch--you need to ask for it. Prices pretty much in line with other restaurants in Alaska which is more than they are in SC.

“Bustling on the Weekend”

We had great service and a delicious lunch. Lots of families celebrating the weekend on our Saturday visit. Try the seafood chowder.

“Excellent food and great desert”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2014

Very busy restaurant. This time knew to make a reservation on-line. Our party of 4 was seated promptly and greeted right away by our server. She got our berverages very promptly and took our orders. I had the salmon which came with 2 sides and splt a small salad with spouse. She had the flank steak. The other couple enjoyed the salad with salmon on it. My ife and I had our favorite desert: the chocolate peanut butter pie. It's fantastic.
