“Everything fell in place today, the perfect lunch experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014

The Glacier Brew House is one of our favorite places to eat at. We have probably eaten here more than any other place in Anchorage. Today, 4-7-14, my wife and I arrived early for lunch, around 11:10. The lunch crowd was shuffling in and the place was beginning to hop. Our server, Loni, was pleasant and casual, with a friendly smile and attentive drift, she made us feel at home and special.

I have to say, the Glacier Brew House serves the best burgers in town, hands down. Our favorite drinks are the their long island ice tea and the Imperial Blonde, absolutely delicious! But be careful, those, I call them “Blonde Imperials” can pack a pleasantly smooth punch, leaving you with a big smile on your face; it happens to me every time!

One thing we find interesting about the “Brew House” is that they will change their menu items from time to time. They once had a salad, our favorite, made with wasabi and tangerines, can’t remember the name of it, but it was delicious. We were disappointed to find that it was no longer on the menu. But, they have a new salad, with slices of pears and sweet roasted pecans, and smooth goat cheese, this salad is awesome!

To top off our meal we had their wonderful cheesecake. One might think this cheesecake is just, well, just cheesecake. It’s an absolutely delicious cheesecake. Its made smooth and airy, almost melts in your mouth, with just the right amount of raspberry sauce, a few blue berries and strawberries, and a nice dabble of whip cream, just enough for two people to split. It’s the perfect finish to a perfect meal.

The Glacier Brew House is a must do for everyone visiting Anchorage Alaska, no question about it!

Bon Appétit!

“Delicious Thai chicken pizza”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2014

I ordered this pizza because I was intrigued with the combination of ingredients - Rotisserie chicken, toasted peanuts, pickled cucumber, bean sprouts, tomato, fresh cilantro, and Thai chili sauce. It was fantastic, and the Amber beer was tasty too.

“One of the best in Anchorage.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2014

Make sure you call for a reservation, especially on the weekends. We ate at glacier Brewhouse three times and it was always packed for lunch or dinner.

The herb-crusted halibut is not to be missed. Neither is the chowder.

The restaurant also brews all of its own beer and cream soda as well. Try them both. You won't be sorry.

“Very Good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2014

Large, but good service and food. Excellent salmon, very good starters. Cute young guys for waiters; ladies will enjoy. Busy, right downtown. Good variety of local brews.

“My favorite place to eat in Anchorage!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2014

This was my favorite place to eat when I was in Anchorage. I had the fettuccine jambalaya and it was terrific. The service was great and the atmosphere was too. We didn't have reservations, but they sat us anyway. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting.
