“Great views!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2014

Food was great but not inexpensive. Service was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the sunset views on the water. They validate parking at the Captain Cook lot.

“Pricey with Awesome Views of the Inlet and Sleeping Lady”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2014

Great place to celebrate a birthday. We had a large group which was probably why the food took a longer time to arrive than usual. Service was excellent. Our waiter was always on cue considering we had an extremely loud group of folks on the table next to us which made it very difficult to speak with each other or even hear the waiter. I had the petite prime rib which was a perfect serving amount, cooked exactly as requested. We had no complaints on the food or the service but the prices were quite steep. We parked in the Captain Cook parking garage due to the restaurant validating our tickets for the first 2 hours. We weren't seated by the window but could still see part of the view from where we were sitting and the sunset was beautiful. Would like to try this place for lunch sometime. The menu looked very appealing.

“Birthdays are for Indulgence!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2014

The crab stuffed, macadamia nut crusted Halibut was voted most likely to be requested as a last meal/ dying request by our crowd! It was perfection! The scallops were also scrumptious...and the lemon drop martinis with an order of oysters on the half shell was a picture perfect start! The service was fantastic and they made our birthday girls feel like royalty! Love this place!

“Pricey, BUT is the best dinner I have had in a long time.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

There were 8 of us on this trip. We went their for dinner. Table wasn't ready when we got there, so we went to the bar area for a few min. (approx. 10 min). Well worth the wait. The food was excellent, desserts excellent too and service was outstanding. Out of the 8 of us, everyone said, we should have hit this place first on our trip and we would have come back every single night. Three of us had the special $29.95 for soup/salad/main course, and dessert. (2) had the sirloin steaks, 1 had prawns. Reg. menu(2) had primb rib (excellent)one king crab legs(excellent)1 had salmon (wild-Exc) and one had meat loaf. We all had a different dessert and everyone thought it theirs were excellent. Would go there again in a heart beat. Well worth even thought pricey.

“A tradition in Anchorage”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

I recently went there after a long time. Had a delightful lunch with great service. This is an upscale restaurant usually chosen by Alaskans for celebrations or special events. It is busy but still good. Only drawback for those counting pennies this is expensive even for Alaska.
