Stayed at the Q Inn upon arriving in Anchorage to relocate. For three weeks my boyfriend daughter and myself stayed in one of the rooms that had it's own bathroom. It was a bit more expensive than the upstairs rooms, but it had it's own bathroom. This hotel is not for people who are not used to communial living. The bathrooms and kitchen are shared and good luck leaving your food in the fridge. When we couldn't afford the bathroom room any longer we moved upstairs. Avoid room 12, it's the noisiest room in the building. There is supposed to be quiet time after 10, but if you're next to the deck forget about it, people smoke, laugh and all together have a great time depending on who's there to watch the place. There is no drugs policy, so why did we always smell marijuana smoke in the hallway? But the big deal is not the smoking it's the visitors, they harp on that more than the do about the smoking/drinking/drugs. The downstairs room was georgeous. The upstairs ones depend on which one you get. 20 is a great room and 3 is a great room, beyond that, the rest aren't so great. Watch where you step, you might fall through the floor when walking down the hallway. The only thing that's great is they give you fresh towles and linens whenever you want. But don't get a room by the laundry room, you'll be hearing it all day and night
