“Fun and Interesting Place to Visit.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

It was near out hotel so we stopped by a couple of times. A bit pricy, but the native art carvings alone are worth the time to visit.

“Fun place to visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

A friend recommended visiting this place and glad we visiited. These ulu knives are handmade right on the premises. Able to view the process of making these knives through viewing windows throughout the store. Ended up buying one for ourselves and three more sets as gifts. Very well made, high quality and work great. Staff friendly and helpful. A little tough to find but make this a stop when in Anchorage.

“Ulu Knives”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

I was not impressed with the store, but certainly impressed with the knives. Customer service was more than lacking and eventually purchased my Ulu products from downtown Anchorage shops.. Ulu products are in most stores -- some of the products are made in China, so check the box if you want to purchase Ulu knives made in Alaska.

“Best Place To Buy Your Made In Alaska (Not China) Ulu. Pet The Dogs, Too!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013

After twelve days in Alaska seeing ulus ranging in price from $2.50 to $200, we were happy to find exactly what we wanted: an ulu that was well made at a fair price and not made in China. The store has other items for sale as well as a lovely display of very old ulus that are for educational purposes. The factory is efficient, and it is nice to support local craftspeople. Do not miss the yellow and black labs behind the counter -- they were an added treat!

“Rachel Ray is a customer!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2013

According to the BOTH Ulu Factory Trolley and the Red Trolley, this is the place that Rachel Ray bought her 1st ulu from (and the rest is history)!!! You can catch a FREE trolley to here at the Visitor's Center ... take a few moments to walk behind the factory & check out Ship Creek!
