One very small chunk of Halibut in Halibut Chowder (watery not creamy) - more like milky pea stew with essence of fish taste. Ordered the Ramen with Beef for my daughter - yes odd choice for Chowder House but restraunt is run by an Asian couple so thought it would be good. Soup that came was more like the description of the house Udon with Egg, Brocolli, the kitchen sink in it and u guessed it NO BEEF. Anotherwords all of the scraps in the kitchen. No water brought to the table until halfway thru the meal and we both had to stand up and wave them down for attention - no they weren't busy. At checkout, again had to wave them down, I complained and the owner started talking another language pretending not to understand. I zeroed out the tip and wrote my compaints on the receipt. Poor Service and poor food. The lady owner then came and said, the Ramen is only on the menu for kids. No Beef, just beef base. False advertising and it wasnt a kid's menu item at double the price of the chowders they serve. Will never go back, tourist trap.
