The zoo is built around an old quary and is on two levels. We did the lower level looking at the leopards, reptiles and brilliant new avary and had lunch in the restaurant overlooking the giraffe enclosure. After lunch we went around the upper level, there is a large rhino enclosure, lions etc. But the best bit was watching the animals being fed, there is a vulture enclosure where you are allowed to walk in with the vultures. At 3pm we went to a seating area there and about 15 vultures joined us, the keeper threw them 3 peices of meat and we watched as the birds ripped and fought over the meat tearing it from the bones. Try not to sit in the front row because they do get close.
This is the only zoo we have managed to spend a whole day at.
