We stayed here while attending an event at the convention center. Clean, comfortable, and has character (two old houses, so not everything is plumb). Great walkable neighborhood with plenty of options for food and drink in the evening. It is on a busy street so we did hear traffic and the occasional siren but still go a good night's rest. The food and coffee for breakfast were both delicious. Off street parking is a major bonus. Compared with the downtown hotels, this is a great deal. The linens might not be as fine, but it was much more relaxing, as if you were staying at home.

In the end, it wasn't the Space Needle, the EMP Museum nor the Original Starbucks at the Public Market that left the sweetest memories of my short stay in Seattle. That accolade goes to Leanne's hospitality and wonderful reception, as she truly made us feel at home and comfortable in Seattle. The B&B is a stone's throw away from downtown with the bus stop for the bus which brings you to Downtown and to the Seattle Center (where the Space Needle is..) just across the road from the B&B. For those who intend on driving into Seattle, there is ample parking space behind (at no extra cost) too. We stayed in the Bordeux room which was really spacious and clean. I must also make special mention of the amazing breakfast that Leanne provides. Soft fluffy pancakes topped with whipped cream and blue berries, tasty poached eggs served with cucumber and tomatoes... Breakfast simply put, filling and delicious! For anyone looking for a place to put up in Seattle, you need look no further. I know I'll definitely be staying her should I return to Seattle.

Room Tip: For those carrying heavy luggage or have difficulty climbing stairs, do ask for a room on the lower...

Look no further! Very clean, comfy, charming & central. Owner-hostess Leann and her staff went over and beyond to take care of us. We felt at home and pampered, especially by Leann’s cheerful personality and southern-like hospitality. Helena, her sweet in-house assistant, was quick to respond to our requests. Exquisite breakfast creations by chef Kampaeng were “to-die-for,” especially the home-made omelet wrap & his signature bread pudding. We couldn’t wait for the next breakfast during our stay from March 15-19, 2012. Comprising two renovated homes with a Victorian flair, each had a well-equipped kitchen & living room for guests. Free parking on the property was another plus. The environment allowed us to enjoy the company of other guests as well as maintain our privacy. We would definitely stay here again.

Beginning with a special tour of the home, accurate directions to a wonderful evening meal close by, and a delightful breakfast over a stimulating conversation with other guests we experienced many of the reasons why Steves is such an advocate of the B and B as a source of travel enrichment. Gracious hospitality and spotless accommodations combined to make this a "come back to place".

Room Tip: If you're a light sleeper, make sure to choose a room in the back of the house, or bring earplug...

I have family who live in Seattle, so we make frequent trips there. Discovered this place totally by accident, but what a find it was! Leanne, the owner, makes you feel so welcome! The breakfasts are truly some of the best I've ever had, and the rooms are lovely. Everything is beautifully decorated and ridiculously comfortable.

Really warm, welcoming vibe. They really are incredible hosts here, and you can't beat the location - walking distance to Volunteer park and lots of great restaurants. The Capitol Hill neighborhood is fun!

I'll never stay anywhere else in Seattle ever again. Can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: Most rooms have private bath - one has a private patio - if it's available I'd take it! The...

We stayed here for 3 nights on a spring adventure. The location is ideal: a bustling neighborhood withing walking distance of downtown. Breakfast was great and our hostess Leighan gave us all sorts of tips to beat the tourist traps.

Room Tip: My husband is a light sleeper, so we were happy to be in the back of the house where there's les...

Seattle Hill House is located in the heart of Capitol Hill. Great location - I had an easy time getting into downtown, walked to great bars, eateries, shopping, yoga/fitness, there's a wonderful just 2 blocks away. We even walked to one of the Northwest's top live shows. The BnB is warm, friendly, super clean and the breakfast is yummy every day...the coffee is perfect! Beds are comfy, bathrooms are bright, rooms are quiet. It also has parking! The back decks and backyard are big enough to enjoy the sun and the front porches are a great place to watch the outside activity. I will definitely stay here again when in Seattle. Good rate$ too! I give it an A+

Room Tip: There are suites for small families, to small cute rooms for a single traveler.
