“Nice place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2014

I really liked that place. Nice choice of home brewered beers. Nice food too and the restaurant itself is nicely decorated. That is one of the hot places in Pike market.

“Mixed Experience.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2014

We made this our first stop our first night in Seattle given its reputation. When we arrived, a waitress greeted us with a barrage of instructions (if you want this go here, if you want that, go there, the bathroom code is that, blah, blah)... so 30 seconds of that was a bit off putting. It gave the distinct impression that they deal with lots of people, and as a result came across as a bit clinical.

We ended up at the bar and being European we asked what a 16oz beer serving was, and we got a deadpan look and the reply: "it's a 16oz serving". ("Thanks. Showing us the glass might be more useful.") Aside from that, the beer was good, the food was good (the crab and artichoke dip was really something else - truly delicious). But we didn't go back. All in all it just wasn't the atmosphere we wanted for a pub/brewery but that is entirely down to personal taste.

“Good casual place to catch a bite while in the area .”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014 via mobile

You can either wait for a table or sit at the bar, both very busy, but not a bad choice if you're in he area. There's a wide variety of food and decently priced. We split the salmon and crab chowder... Fresh as you get at a place like this when you're in Seattle. Pretty touristy but a fun atmosphere. Casual, kid friendly, and something for everyone. Probably not the best food in the area, but great location and prices.

“Not bad but not the best”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2014

So the good first. Great atmosphere - very lively and lots to look at on the wall. The beer on tap is much better than you buy in the store. The adult entrees were pretty good. Now the bad. We had terrible service, and the kids meals are a complete joke. You order Mac n cheese and literally just get Mac n cheese, no sides, no drink, not even a scoop of ice cream and it's not cheap. We weren't impressed.

“Ok, but avoid the tour.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

Went with colleagues for lunch. Did the tour afterwards.
Food was average/good.
Beer was very gassy / sharp for my liking.
Tour was an awful shouting woman who made me want to drink more and quickly.
Very touristy.
