“Delightful neighborhood restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2014

We returned to the Vios Cafe after a too-long absence of several years, and had a delicious lunch. The cafe is bright and cheery, as was the service. We had trouble deciding what to eat - not because there wasn't much to find on the menu (as has been the case in some places), but because everything sounded so good and was so tempting. We had no trouble finding parking on the street.

“Light dinner at Vios”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2014

On Saturday, 12 April, my wife and I decided that Vios would be just the right place for a fairly speedy and good, light dinner before a concert. We've been there before, both times for lunch, and so knew a bot about their food and friendliness. We live in a small town on the Olympic Peninsula without a Greek restaurant and so when visiting a city, we usually try to find some ethnic food we can't get at home. Boy, did Vios deliver! A delightful meal was served us, by warm and attentive staff, and the entire meal was a delight from the fingerling potato appetizer to the shared dessert. We sat at the front corner table which allowed some coziness and yet lots of light. Our server was as professional and warm as anyone needs ever to be and his recommendations proved spot on. The staff can make or destroy an otherwise fine meal and this group knows just how to treat their customers to make them feel welcome and comfortable. Oh, the chicken souvlaki was just about perfect, too. We'll happily be back as soon as we are again in Seattle. This place is worth driving a long way for.

“Yummy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013

A wonderful family place; there is a children's play area towards to rear of the restaurant to be able to keep an eye out on your young one. It can get a little on the noisy side, so when making your reservation, ask to be seated in the front of the restaurant if you do not want to have the noise right in your area.
The food is wonderful; I have an octopus salad and the chicken souvlaki, both were well-portioned for the price. My sister had the roast chicken and I tried abit of it and it was juicy. The hummos is also a must try. The portions were perfect for the price.
Good for small groups.

“Perky server, tasty lunch special”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

We had the lunch special: toasted cheese sandwich and split pea soup. Both were fabulous. Our waitress, Ann, was perky and helpful. She received a good tip from us.

It's a bit noisy for those of us who have difficulty hearing when the room acoustics do not dampen the chatter and clatter. We were there at 12noon. By 1:30, the place had significantly cleared out and it was much easier to hear one another. Just a head's up ... don't go there at peak hours if your purpose is for conversation.

“Food is great and service is amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

I'm very picky about my lamb and theirs is great. What we love, that keeps us coming back is that we've never ordered anything that didn't taste great (except for a Greek wine that they warned us we may not like). One time that we went, they remembered the wine we ordered last time and suggested it again! That's service! Only one caveat: they love kids so there are always many there. Most of the time they are quiet.
