The place is full of sophistication yet it is very unpretentious. The bar is cozy with lots of private areas to sit and talk over cocktails. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Easy walking to all of Seattle. I can not believe this is not one of their Astoria collection.

This hotel was clean with an inviting charm of its history to explore. Located in a most historic part of Seattle, this unique DoubleTree hotel, The Artic Lodge stands out of the typical boutiques or corportate imaged hotels. It has a cool character all to its own that you can see and experience. A wonderful staff is here to greet, welcome, and assist you in any way during your stay. All details have been thought of to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay.

The Artic Club is a restored hotel in the business district of Downtown Seattle. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room was clean, well appointed and very nice. A complimentary wine bottle was found in our room as a special occasion was noted on our reservation. While the location is in the business district it is on Third Avenue with easy bus connection to Pike Street Market and the Seattle Center. If you are carrying light luggage, a train station to SeaTrac Airport is accross the street. Overall a great stay and easy to get around Seatle. The onsite restraunt Juno is contemporary food and worth a visit.

I was on a very brief one night stint in Seattle and needed to stay close to the Greyhound station, but also wanted to have a stay that was uniquely Seattle. This hotel is right in downtown, which, at night was not really that crowded as it is mostly a business district and it was a short walk from a giant mall and the Seattle Public Library (just go see it and, if you can't do that, then just google it and marvel at it). It's also a short cab from the Space Needle and EMP, some other big name tourist sites and, honestly, I would have gladly stayed at the hotel the entire time. The rooms are luxurious and cozy (it was winter at the time) with in room French presses with Starbucks coffees (obviously). I can't get over how much I love the idea of a French press as a hotel coffeemaker. The gentleman at the front desk (I feel terrible that I can't remember his name) was really friendly and helpful in directing me around the local area and the bellman who called me a cab began to worry when it hadn't shown up in a few minutes. They were well ahead of me on that since I was just enjoying the lobby.

Room Tip: I know it's not everyone's thing, but my room overlooked the street and I love bustle. Why e...

We stayed at The Arctic for a girls trip/bachelorette party and it was the most amazing hotel i've stayed at. YOU NEED TO STAY HERE!!! Seattle is beautiful, but this really expresses the history of the city. The staff is wonderful and very professional! Will definitely stay here again!

Great location if you are visiting Seattle for business as hotel is located in the heart of the business area. If you are visiting for leisure you are away from the touristic sites. Great service and beautiful rooms.

Loved the Gold Rush theme, the well appointed decor and location. However, the gorgeous high-end shower and sink did not drain properly and the room A/C didn't get any colder than 75/76 degrees. Front desk staff didn't fix the issues and management offered no compensation etc. Issues can arise at any property but a 4 Diamond property should never have issues like this and if they do, should be dealt with in lightning fashion with management that bends over backward to appease the guests.... not done; rather a dismissive attitude with follow-up emails that were dismissive in nature. We will not be referring our Cruise Customers to this hotel.
