“Another Wonderful Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

The attention to detail and professional staff here are hard to beat in the downtown Seattle area. From the valet parking (yes, expensive but necessary) - to reception - to housekeeping, there are genuine smiles and a welcoming attitude all around. If you like a boutique hotel exprience to break up the business-class clone properties - this should remain permanently on your list.

Excellent hotel. Steeped in local Seattle history. Well appointed, comfortable rooms. Pleasant walking distance to the Seattle center, which in turn offers monorail access to the Space Needle and other attractions.

Classy hotel with a truly unique vibe. After arriving from the east coast at 11 am the excellent front desk staff got me into a fabulous corner room within 45 minutes. The room was very clean and well laid out with a comfy bed and nice crisp sheets. The bathroom was loaded with lots of towels and quite spacous. The overall furnishings were modern, but designed to lend itself to a "historic 1940's" feel. Really cute & special. I was easily able to walk to good shops, restaurants & the classic places to visit (Pike Market; the Catholic Cathedral St. James etc.) Never needed a cab except to go to the airport and back. The hotel will also make arrangements for a very classy limo service (same cost as a cab) to return you to the airport. Juno, the restaurant on the ground level, serves good quality food at a very good price, in an elegant environment and with large portions. This is a Doubletree, but it feels much more like a boutique hotel. Absolutely loved it and would not hesitate to stay here again!!

Hotel was not my normal place to stay in Seattle, but due to a trade show in town I was force to book this place. It was excellent and had great history in it. The room was wonderful and very clean. I enjoyed this place and would stay here again in the future!

Charming hotel, staff was SUPERIOR everyone was friendly and accommodating, beds are super comfortable. Nice location. My room was next to the elevator and was very noisy. If possible request your room not be near the elevator
