My family of 5 came to Seattle on a whim to see a Mariners game. We found the Silver Cloud Stadium right across the street. The room rate was reasonable. The room very clean. We brought our own cot for the 5th person as they don't have any. They didn't have an issue with us bringing it, so that was good. The room was plenty big enough for the cot and our 5 suitcases. We were on the 3rd floor and slept quite soundly. My only complaint about the room was the sheets on the beds. While they were soft and comfortable, they were too small. Both beds, both nights we were there, the sheets rode up and off the bed in the middle of the night. I tried to pull them down, but they were too small. The hotel had a roof top pool with views of the port and the ball field. My family loved it. The hotel also has a complimentary shuttle that runs all day. It was a nice touch seeing as its quite a walk away from things like Pike Place Market or the Needle. We went to a movie one night and called for a shuttle at 10 pm. They came within 10 minutes. It was great. Parking was $22 a night. I thought it was pricey, but I guess its just a cost of being in a city where parking is at a premium, even though the parking was done by valet, it was re assuring that the general public had no access to my vehicle. I needed something out of my van and they actually brought the van to me, rather than me to the van. The check in process was painLESS! so was check out....stay out of the stairwell though. We were going to check out and the elevator was full, so I thought I'd take the stairs. I went down and the only door was the one to the back of the building, or into the kitchen. I went back to my floor and was locked in the stairwell because my husband had the room key, so I went out the back and had to walk around the building to the front and come in to check out. We didn't eat in the restaurant, with 5 of us it was just too pricey.
