If you're visiting Seattle with kids, this is a must. There are souvenir shops with T shirts and the usual stuff that kids like. The restaurants are pretty good, although Seattleites rarely come here to eat. Ivar's is a Seattle tradition and the kids can feed sea gulls on the outside pier. There are fire boats and ferry boats. And, there's even a short street car ride. For adults, it can actually be kind of cool to grab a great microbrew beer at one of the bars on a rainy day.
