“Corny but cute”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2009

A few people had told me the Ducks tour was good to go on, so my husband and I thought we'd give it a shot. The driver was VERY energetic, and unfortunately the crowd on our duck was not - perhaps it was the 50 degrees and rain that dampened spirits (although they did provide blankets for everyone on board).

The driver gave us a great tour though and we learned a lot about Seattle and her neighborhoods. The highlight of the trip is splashing down into Lake Union for a great look at the city skyline, the floating house from Sleepless in Seattle and some amazing floating homes and houseboat's.

“Very fun!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2009

The ducks was a very fun tour! Our driver was very funny and kept us entertained the whole time. My only negative comment would be that the tour does not give you much history or background about the city itself. It's more of a comedy tour rather than informative.

This is a great way to learn about Seattle and to discover the best places to visit while you are there. The driver's are not only knowedgeable, but they are very entertaining and get the crowd involved in some fun activities during the tour. A definite activity to do whilst there.

“So much fun! What a great way to see the city!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2009

We were afraid that we wouldn't get on a tour, since we arrived in the city later on a Friday before a cruise. Not to worry, as there are plenty of busses available. My friends & myself bought the quackers & had alot of fun annoying everyone with them. Several others on our bus had them, but seemed embarrassed to use. Not us, to others dismay. The tour guide was very funny & full of facts. The locals seem to know the tour well & sometimes act out for us. We got a "moondance" from a local restaurant worker on his break. I was a little nervous when we entered the water, but figured they do so many of these trips everyday without incident. This tour was a highlight & surprise fun day for all of us. The tour is located across the street from the monarail/Space Needle area & we did have some trouble finding it, as it isn't marked on the "you are here" map. We asked one guy at a souvenir stand & he rudely told us to read the map. We asked another lady at one of the snack bars & she pointed us in the right direction. Wish the tour had more signs when you get off the monorail.

“Best 17 hours spent in a city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2009

We drove up from Portland, Oregon cause we had an afternoon and evening open. We got into town at 5 and were able to manage a DUCK TOUR--(BOMB!!!), Pike's Market Place, and Space Needle. Everyone in town was so friendly and helpful. Even random people on the street were awesome! The city was absolutely gorgeous and green. The next morning we had breakfast at the Marriot and did an Underground Tour and hit Pike's Place One more time. We had a blast and really got a good feel for the city in such a short amount of time. If anyone is going to Seattle, I would definitely have to recommend the DUCK TOURS-- the Captains do a great job of making the Tour entertaining and informative!! Excellent trip!!
