“Holiday Tour was SO fun!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2014 NEW

I live about 45 minutes south of Seattle and have for a number of years. This was the first time I had ever "ridden the ducks." I took the Holiday tour and had a fantastic time! Our driver was Buddy the Elf and he has an energy that was infectious. He got us all singing and doing silly dance moves while pointing out interesting Seattle sights. I was a little disappointed that this particular tour doesn't go on the water, but it was still super fun and a great way to spend an evening in Seattle.

“We had a blast on the "holiday" duck ride!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2014 NEW

Last night, six of us took the "holiday" duck ride in downtown Seattle. (We varied in age from the 20's to the 60's.) Although we have been on many "duck" rides in various cities, we had never done a holiday ride. It was sooo fun! As it was a little chilly out, they provided each seat with a nice heavy blanket (how nice of them). Each seat also had a 3-ft long plastic candy cane with bells on it (which we shook during the ride). Our "captain" was very gregarious, wore a candy cane suit, and changed Christmas hats all during the ride; amongst his jokes, he also threw in various tidbits/history about the city. Just before entering your "duck", a group photo is taken which you have he opportunity to purchase once your ride is over (or you can purchase online later). All along our ride we were singing Christmas songs (which are piped into a sound system) and wishing "Merry Christmas" to the people on the streets. As it was the last weekend before Christmas, there were lots of last-minute shoppers out! The holiday duck ride is boarded at Westlake Center where there are many places to shop/eat as well as a carousel to ride on, many beautiful Christmas decorations and lights, and unlimited photo opportunities. Of course there is a Starbucks right next to the boarding area, so we had time to grab coffees and hot chocolates to take with us on our chilly ride. (Only alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the ride.) The holiday duck ride does not go into the water. We knew that ahead of time so we were not disappointed. We had a lot of fun and it sure helped to put all of us in the holiday spirit!

Visiting Seattle to visit some friends for the holidays, came across a great
way to celebrate!! Holiday Duck rides around the city with some
Christmas music with bells to ring and lots of silly fun as you drive
around town singing holiday songs and shouting egg nog lattes
at the Starbucks. its about an hour and will add a little spice to shopping
and dinner downtown.

“Holiday duck tours are the worst.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2014 NEW via mobile

My family came to town for the holidays and I thought a holiday duck tour would be great to show them seattle.man was I wrong. Things started off fine then the duck just broke down and we were stuck on that this g in the cold for two or more hours. Our capatain, captain snowdacious wouldn't even let us off for the restroom until we got back to Westlake where we started. No refund or compensation was offered. We were all treated rudely and will not return. Terrible staff. Terrible service. Just terrible.

“Great trip, great driver.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2014

We had a great trip with the Ducks in Seattle. Our driver "Beau Dashus" was really funny and full of energy which was infectious. He gave us some of Seattles history, fun facts and some bad jokes which all added to the experience. It was also cool to see the house boats from the water. Started next to the needle and across the road from the EMP Museum.
