“Student eating place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2012

Very reasonably priced Sandwitches in a basic bar and restaurant looking eatery. A pick up you own food type place, filled with people who are looking for food and drink at a low cost. The food was good but not fancy.

“Always my first stop when visiting Seattle from Vancouver”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2012

When visiting Seattle from Vancouver, it normally is 11 or 12 by the time I hit my destination. It has become a bit of a tradition for me to pull off toward the University district and hit Big Time Brewery for an affordable lunch of a pulled pork sandwich with whoever I am with. The delicious sandwich is so large that I rarely finish my meal.

I think the craft beers here are tremendously underrated, and put this brewery among the best in the State and better than most better known Washington breweries that bottle more of their products. The atmosphere is laid back, and the well-worn wood furnished brewpub is often filled with either college students or Huskies fans before a game.

“Great Old Place!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2012

Went here before a concert at The Neptune. I think they were training a new person that night. Place order at window, wait a very long time, don't get everything we ordered. Menu choices weren't clear - and neither was the guy taking the order. Like the rustic appearance. Good beer and the food was ok. Took a lot longer than anticipated - wouldn't go here before a concert. Maybe eating at the street fair would have been a better option, but the building was old and fun to visit once.

“Great brew with a phun attitude!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2012

Very kool joint. You gotta go if you're a connoisseur of brew. Seasonal as well as regular favorites. The Stout and Porter are exceptional! (heavy and chewy) Good old time Seattle atmosphere with a friendly hard working staff. Very good pub menu. Check it out. You'll like it!

“Great beer, tasty pizza.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2012

Best Groupon I"ve ever used! This place was awesome! Their beer was great...there wasn't one we didn't enjoy. The pizza is reasonably priced and delicious! The staff was also very nice & knowledgeable about all their brews. Will definitely be going back on our next trip to Seattle!
