The Wild Mountain Cafe is in the Ballad neighborhood on the north side of Seattle. It is housed in a purple house sitting atop a small staircase from the street. The decor is bright with colorful pictures. If the tomato vegetable soup is typical of daily selections then I'd want to taste all of them. It was very tasty with large chunks of tomato and vegetables. Sandwiches are fresh, ample, and accompanied by nacho chips and salsa. A very nice choice over typical chain restaurants--creative, exceptional quality, and reasonably priced.
