“Fabulous view, great food, a great place to celebrate!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

This restaurant has it all: super menu of fresh seafood, ambiance and view, service is impeccable, wine list is extensive, all around an excellent place. It is a little bit of a drive but entirely pleasant out to Alki point, so worth the time.

“Great upscale dinner without the dress code”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

The view was amazing. You can see across the water to the Seattle skyline. The drinks were well made. I had the Halibut Oscar and it was extremely good. I had the cheesecake dessert which was rich, but so good that I tried to finish it even full. I also tried the house specialty dessert, the White Chocolate Mousse cake. It was very light and decadent. There is no spongy cake, only layers of mousse. I would highly recommend this restaraunt and this meal to everyone.

“Great View - and Surprisingly Good Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012

I've eaten here before - and had forgotten how fabulous the food was. The view is outstanding and the food is as good. Go "off-hours" mid-afternoon because this place can get crowded, but they do a good job with seating, food served quickly and service was excellent. Have the open-faced crab sandwich, the chowder - both packed with seafood.

“Wonderful seafood with a gorgeous view of Seattle to boot!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

Salty's caters to an eclectic crowd with patrons dressed in anything from jeans to suits. All are there for the wonderful seafood (among other genres) and the fabulous view of Elliott Bay with Seattle in the background. It's a great place to watch the sun go down and the city lights come on. The food is fabulous and I would recommend it for a special occasion or date night if you really want to score some romance "points" with your significant other. I worked for me! We also had one of the most caring and attentive waiters I can remember in all my years of eating out. I think his name was Adam, but I've slept since then so I can't be sure. Highly recommended that you call ahead for reservations to get a table with a view.
