“Cooked to Order Asian, friendly, long-time Ballard institution”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2012

This place is an old fashioned Asian restaurant, plain tables with nothing fancy except the well prepared food. Their soups are delicious - steaming broth, with Thai Basil and sprouts to add yourself, plenty of noodles. Delicious! I particularly love the Lemon Grass and Curry dishes. Order from the pictures and prepare for a large and freshly made dinner.

“cheap-healthy-yummy Ballard option”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2007

I live in the neighborhood and walk to Ann's a lot to get takeout. One of my fave places. Their menu has a really good variety of dishes - tons of options besides teriyaki - and the quality is amazing for the low price! There seem to be lots of vegetarian options too. The food is always consistently fresh and cooked just right - especially the veggies - and I am a big fan of their brown rice (you can choose white or brown.) Everything is really flavorful and I haven't ever had a bad experience there in over a year. I have also eaten in the restaurant, and it's pleasant - very bright and clean and basic, but nothing fancy . I recommend Ann's whether you eat there or get a meal to go.
